How does one solve this question, any help would be appreciated! I feel this has a really easy solution and I've decided to significantly over-complicate it.

13. a) Write down the equation of the line with gradient 3 passing through (0, -2)

b) Write down the equation of the line which is parallel to the line y=4-5x passing through (0,-1)

Hello,

a)
the gradient is the slope:

y+2=3(x-0) or y=3x-2

b) slope is -5 (parallele to y=-5x+4)

y+1=-5(x-0) or y=-5x-1
