The distance from Miami to Bermuda is 1855 km

How to find the distance

The distance is solved using the sine rule

Using sine rule, we have the expression

let

B = Bermuda

M = Miami

S = San Juan

sin B / (M to S) = sin S / (M to B)

We solve for angle B

= 180 - 50 - 74 (sum of angles in a triangle)

= 56 degrees

plugging in to the equation

sin 56 / (1600) = sin 74 / (M to B)

M to B = sin 74 * 1600 / sin 56

M to B = 1855.185 km
