y-y1=m(x-x1)
(x1,y1) is a given point
m=slope
y-(-3)=1/2(x-(-3))
y+3=1/2(x+3) is an equation

2x+3y=6
x+y=4
multiply second equation by -2 and add to first

2x+3y=6
-2x-2y=-8 +
0x+1y=-2

y=-2
sub back

x+y=4
x-2=4
add 2
x=6

x=6
y=-2
(6,-2)
