I saw the image of the triangle. It is a right triangle.
AD is the long leg ; AE is the short leg ; DE is the hypotenuse
AD = 3 ; AE = 2 ; DE = 3.61 (use Pythagorean theorem)
Perimeter = 3 + 2 + 3.61 = 8.61
Area of a right triange = (3*2)/2 = 6/2 = 3 square unit
Dilated to ACB
AB is the long leg ; AC is the short leg ; BC is the hypotenuse
AB = 6 ; AC = 4 ; BC = 7.21
Perimeter = 6 + 4 + 7.21 = 17.21
Area of a right triangle = (6*4)/2 = 24/2 = 12 square unit
