I would change all these to decimals. 1/2 is 0.5, 0.4, and 30% is 0.3
Therefore, least to greatest, it is 30%, 0.4, and 1/2. Good luck!

1/2=50/100=0.5
0.4=0.4
30%=30/100=0.3
0.5,0.4,0.3 order
0.3,0.4,0.5
