First find the measures of the rectangle W

Area of the rectangle is


A=l* h

then replace the values to find h


\begin{gathered} 270=18* h \\ h=(270)/(18)=15 \end{gathered}

now find the factor between the rectangles dividing the length of the rectangle X and length of the W


(7.2)/(18)=(2)/(5)

Multiply the heigth of Rectangle W by te factor to obtain the heigth of the Rectangle X


15*(2)/(5)=6

now find the area of the rectangle X using the formula, height and length


\begin{gathered} A=l* h \\ A=7.2*6 \\ A=43.2 \end{gathered}

Area of the Rectangle X is 43.2 square units
