Solutions
We know that a straight line is 180° and the angle given is 112°. To solve the problem you have to subtract 112° from 180°.
180° - 112° = angle x
Angle x =
68°
Check your work
Let angle x = 68°.
112° + 68° = 180°
The answer is correct.

they add to 180
we know that they are x and 112
x+112=180
minus 112 both sides
x=68
answer is x=68 degrees
