ok
totl area=trianglearea+squarearea

traignelarea=1/2(base)(height)

squarearea=side^2

we see
a=18
b=24
c=30

c=side of the square
a=base
b=height

so
trianglearea=1/2ab=1/2*18*24=216

squaerarea=side^2=c^2=30^2=900

add
216+900=1116

answer is D, 1116 ft^2
