2. The first term of a geometric sequence is -10,000 and the common ratio is -1/2. Find the 6th term.
3. The first term of a geometric sequence is 3/4 and the common ratio is 4. Find the 8th term.

r=common ratio
a1=first term
an=nth term
1. a1=0.5
r=0.5
a15=0.5(5^(15-1))
a15=0.5(5^14)
a15=3,051,757,812.5



2. a1=-10000
r=-1/2
a6=-10000(-1/2)^(6-1)
a6=-10000(-1/2)^(5)
a6=-10000(-1/32)
a6=312.5


3.
a1=3/4
r=4
a6=(3/4)(4)^(8-1)
a6=(3/4)(4)^(7)
a6=12288
