We have the cost function:

C(n)=15n+75

a) We have to calculate C(4):

C(4)=15\cdot4+75=60+75=135

C(4) = 135

b) We have two parts in the cost function: one is fixed, or independent of the number of campers, and the other is variable or dependent of the number of campers.

In this case, the total budget for 4 campers is $135.

c) If the budget is $165, the number of campers is:

\begin{gathered} 15n+75=165 \\ 15n=165-75=90 \\ n=(90)/(15)=6 \end{gathered}

The numbers of campers for this budget is 6 campers.
