Given the figure attached:

Any two sides on a triangle have to be greater than the third side, so:

$3x+2+2x+6\text{ > 10}$

solving for x:

$\begin{gathered} 5x\text{ > }10-2-6 \\ 5x\text{ > }2 \\ x>0.4 \end{gathered}$

ANSWER

x > 0.4
