Answer:

The answer is False

Step-by-step explanation:

The size of crystals in an igneous rock will usually tell whether it hardened rapidly or slowly. If an igneous rock is smooth and separate crystals cannot be seen, it hardened quickly. If large crystals are visible, like fruit and nuts in a fruitcake, the rock crystallized slowly. Slow cooling gives molecules in the melted rock time to move by heat vibrations. The moving molecules come in contact with other molecules of the same compound, or of a compound with similar physical and chemical qualities, and grow into bigger crystals.

hope this helped :)

Large crystals indicate that it cooled very quickly. If it cooled slowly, it would have time to settle down and make a nice smooth rock.
