Find the range for the function y=4x+7, when the domain is {-3,-1,0,1,3}.

It would help if you could also tell me how you got the answer so that I can learn to do this myself.

range is the output you get from inputing the domain


domain=-3,-1,0,1,3
input those numbers for x and get y (range)

y=4(-3)+7
y=-5

y=4(-1)+7
y=3

y=4(0)+7
y=7

y=4(1)+7
y=11

y=4(3)+7
y=19


range is {-5,3,7,11,19}
