The transformation over the x-axis has the following rule:


(x,y)\to(x,-y)

The coordinates of the point W are:


(x,y)=(-8,-7)

Applying the rule above, we have the new coordinates to be:


\begin{gathered} W^(\prime)\Rightarrow(-8,-(-7) \\ W^(\prime)\Rightarrow(-8,7) \end{gathered}

The new coordinates after the transformation are (-8, 7).
