Expand the linear expression: 3(4x + 3)

You have to take the 3 and multiply what ever is in the parenthasis so 3*4 is 12 but you cant mutliply x so its 12x and them 3*3 is 9 so your answer would be 12x+9

3×4x+3×3

2) Simplify 3×4x to 12x

12x+3×3

3) Simplify 3×3 to 9

12x+9

Answer =
12x+9
