When a variable varies directly respect to other it means that when the first increase the other also increase. and when the first decrease the other also increase:

If you have y varies directly as x and have

- when x= 10 then y=3

- when y = 8 then x > 10 because the value of y increase.

As the options you have are:

80/3 =26.6

15/4=3.75

12/5=2.4

And if you don't have a constant of inequality defined the ansercould be 80/3 because 80/3 >10
