usually sells fo 62
30% off
100-30=70
percent means parts out of 100
70%=70/100=0.70
70% of 62
0.70 times 62
43.4
1+6%=1.06
43.4*1.06=46.004 which is $46.00

aright so first we multiply 62 times 0.3 to get the discounted price
i am using 0.3 because as a decimal 30% is 0.3
62 x 0.3 = 18.6
thats not the price! thats how much we are taking off the price soo lets do the math:)
62 - 18.6 = 43.4
so so far our discounted price is $43.40
but we still need to add the tax! which is 6% we need to find 6% of 43.3 and add it on
we are going to use 0.06 as our decimal for 6% soooo
43.3 x 0.06 = 2.604
we arent finished yet lets add 2.604 to 43.4
43.4 + 2.604 = 46.004
so our grand total is $46!
hope this helps you out:)
