Given:

For each number, we will round to the nearest hundred.

Sarah leaves her house and walks 5,472 meters to the park.

So, rounding to the nearest hundred = 5,500 meters

Then 3,922 meters to a friend's house.

So, rounding to the nearest hundred = 3,900 meters

She then travels 3,644 meters back to her home.

So, rounding to the nearest hundred = 3,600 meters

The sum of the distances after rounding =

5500+3900+3600=13000

So, the answer will be:

Total distance = 13,000 meters
