For a quadratic equation, if imaginary roots exists then imaginary roots are in conjugate form. The conjugate of complex root (a + bi) is (a - bi).

So conjugate of root -2i is +2i. Thus other root of quadratic equation is 2i.

Answer: x = 2i.
