What does MC^2 equal?

E=MC^2

E=energy

M=Mass

C= speed of light

So that means energy=mass x speed of light squared

Einstein calculated energy to be equal to mass times the speed of light to the second power. In scientific notation, the equation looks like this:


E = mc^(2)

Where E = energy, m = mass, and c = the speed of light.
