We can get the surface area of the rectangular prism by using this formula
A = 2 ( w l + h l + h w )
Given that the
l = 5
w = 4
h =2

Then, the surface area is
A = 2 ( w l + h l + h w )
A = 2 (4*5 + 2*5 + 2*4)
A = 2 (20 + 10 + 8)
A = 2 (38)
A = 76 m^2

In order to get the volume, we have to use this formula.
Volume = l * w * h
Volume = 5 * 4 * 2
Volume = 40m^3
