7. Suppose that y varies inversely with x. Use the information to find k, and then choose the equation of variation. x = 2.5 when y = 100.K = 0.025, y = 0.025x250K - 250, y = xk = 250, y = 250x0 025K = 0.025, y

We have that the relation between x and y is inverse, so we now that

y=k(1)/(x)=(k)/(x)

Now we are going to find k, we know that if x=2.5 then y = 100, so

100=(k)/(2.5)

then we have that

k=100\cdot2.5=250

The answer is b. k=250 and y=250/x.
