The point slope formula is m =
Or y₂-y₁ = m (x₂-x₁)
m is slope
Given point: (8, -4)
Slope:
Substitute:
y₂-(-4) =
(x₂ - 8)
(minus minus = plus)
y₂ + 4 =
(x₂ - 8)
The last option is the answer.
