The process of cytokinesis, which is present in the cell cycle of other organim, is not present in Plasmodial slime mold's cell cycle. Cytokinesis in other organisms pulls newly-divided cells apart. In Plasmodial slime mold cell cycle, a coenocyte which is its resulting structure, is created by many nuclear divisions without the presence of cytokinesis. In other cases, the resulting structure is called a syncytium which is created by the fusion of cells after division.
