Which of these statements are true about the intercepts for the graph of the exponential function y=3(7)^x+4? Select all that apply.•The x intercept is 0•The graph has no y intercept•The y intercept is 3•The y intercept is 7•The y intercept is -3/7•The graph has no x intercept•The y intercept is 4•The x intercept is 4

You have the following exponential function:

y = 3(7)^x + 4

To determine which statements are true, find the x and y intercepts of the function.

x-intercept:

0 = 3(7)^x + 4

-4 = 3(7)^x

-4/3 = 7^x

log_7 (-4/3) = x

there are no logarith of negative numbers, then:

The graph has no x-intercept

y-intercept:

y = 3(7)^0 + 4

y = 3 + 4

y = 7

The y-intercept is 7
