Ok... I'm confused, this is about covering metric units of length.

Mount Saint Helens, a volcano, erupted on May 18, 1980. Before eruption, Mount St. Helens was 2,950 meters high. After eruption, it was 2,550 meters high.

(Questions)
What is the difference in height of Mont St. Helens?

Before the eruption, how many kilometers high was Mount St. Helens?

Which of the following is eguals to 2 meters?
(A) 200mm (B) 20cm (C) 200km

1. The difference in height is 400 meters because difference = subtract.

2. Mount St. Helens was 2.95 cause 1 meter = 0.001 killometer, so 0.001 x 2950 = 2.95.

3. None of them are right...

4. You would convert 4m into millimeters by doing 1000 x 4 because 1 meters = 1000 millimeters. The answer will be 4000 millimeters
