To do the operation, we can follow:

PEMDAS

This is the order in which to do these problems . It means:

P parenthesis

E exponents

M multiplication

D division

A addition

and

S subtraction

Doing the parenthesis first, we have:

\begin{gathered} (6*(1)/(2))^2+20\cdot5 \\ =(3)^2+20\cdot5 \end{gathered}

Now, we do the exponent:

\begin{gathered} (3)^2+20\cdot5 \\ =9+20\cdot5 \end{gathered}

Then, we have multiplication:

\begin{gathered} 9+20\cdot5 \\ =9+100 \\ =109 \end{gathered}
