The sum of the ages of two brothers is 46. The younger brother is 10 more than a third of the older brothers age. How old is the younger brother.

so you would take 46 minus 10 then that's 36 so you would divide 36 by 3 and then you get 12 now since there is still a older brother and 10 plus 12 is only 22 I would infer that the older brother is 24 years old
