10,000=10⁴
0.743 cm=7.43 x 10⁻¹ cm


7.43 x10⁻¹ cm / 10⁴=7.43 x 10⁻¹ cm * 10⁻⁴=7.43 x 10⁻¹⁻⁴ cm=
=7.43 x 10⁻⁵ cm.
