y=-2x-9;y=12x+19

Solve for y

Y= -2x-9 for y

Substitute -2x-9 for y in y= 12x+19: y=12x+19

-2x-9=12x+19

Add -12x to both sides

-2x-9+-12x=12x+19+-12x

-14x-9=19

Add 9 to both sides

-14x-9+9=19+9

-14x=28

Divide both sides by -14

-14x/-14=28/-14

x=-2

Substitute -2 for x in y=-2x-9:y=-2x-9

y=(-2)(-2)-9

y=-5

The answer is

y=-5 and x=-2

I hope that's help ! Sweet dream .

Start by putting 12x+19 in the y spot of the other equation to where you get 12x+19=-2x-9. Then add 2x to both side so it cancels out the -2x and adds 2x to 12x to get 14x. Then subtract 19 from both sides so it cancels out 19 and subtracts 19 from -9 to get -28. So you should have 14x=-28 then you'll divide 14 from both sides so it cancels out 14x and divide 14 by -28. You should get x=-2 as your final answer.
