Given:
Student Athlete 3 1/3 miles in 30 minutes
Professional runner run 1 1/4 times as far in 30 minutes.

We need to convert the mixed fractions into improper fractions.

3 1/3 miles = 10/3 miles
1 1/4 times = 5/4 times

10/3 * 5/4 = 10 * 5 / 3 * 4 = 50/12

50/12 = 4 2/12 or 4 1/6 miles in 30 minutes.
