Explain the importance of concentration as it pertains to a solution

This question should be in Chemistry, not Physics. When talking about concentration as it relation to solution, it measures the proportionality of two or more quantities or items in a mixture. The importance of concentration (of a solute) most especially in studying chemical reactions determines the frequency of molecules' collision in solution. Through that, it indirectly determines the condition and reaction rate if it's in equilibrium.
