Final answer:

A letter to the editor of a European newspaper expressing views about the coming war would discuss the potential pros and cons of the conflict, such as liberation, defeat of fascism, and loss of human lives.

Step-by-step explanation:

In the context of World War II, a letter to the editor of a European newspaper expressing views about the coming war might have discussed the potential pros and cons of the conflict. The pros could include the liberation of occupied countries, the defeat of fascism, and the establishment of international peace and cooperation. On the other hand, the cons may involve the loss of human lives, the destruction of cities, and the devastating impact on civilians.

Dear editor of the European news paper,

I feel the upcoming war is unnecessary. Why shan't we settle this disagreement in peace? Why can't we all just be friends? Just because of this disagreement, doesn't mean we can't be buddies. Friends have disagreements all the time...right? I would like for you to send a letter to are friends that we need settle this like whining children, but experienced and responsible countries.

Sincerely, (you can't know my name you creepy stalker!)
