The angles of one figure is equal to the corresponding angles of the second figure.

\begin{gathered} <p>Also, the ratio of the corresponding sides of both the figures is,</p>[tex]\begin{gathered} (GF)/(CB)=(3.6)/(2.4)=1.5 \\ (FE)/(BA)=(3)/(2)=1.5 \\ (EH)/(AD)=(3.6)/(2.4)=1.5 \\ (HG)/(DC)=(3)/(2)=1.5 \\ (FG)/(BC)=(FE)/(BA)=(EH)/(AD)=(HG)/(DC)=1.5 \end{gathered}

So, the ratio of corresponding sides of the figures are equal.

Two figures are similar if their corresponding angles are equal and the ratio of the corresponding sides of the figures are the same. So, both figures are similar.
