(7)/(x-5) - (3)/(4x-20) = -3 \\ \\ (7)/(x-5) - (3)/(4(x - 5)) = -3 \\ \\ (25)/(4(x - 5)) = -3 \\ \\ 25 = -3 * 4 (x - 5) \\ \\ 25 = -12 (x - 5) \\ \\ - (25)/(12) + 5 = x \\ \\ (35)/(12) = x \\ \\ x = (35)/(12) \\ \\

The final result is: x = 35/12 or x = 2.9167.
