Slope intercept form:

y=mx+b

where:

m= slope ( rise /run)

b= y-intercept ( where the line crosses the y axis)

So, for the top line:

It crosses the y axis (vertical axis ) at y=3, b=3

And, for every 3 units to the right along the x axis (run) , the line goes up by 1 unit.

slope rise / run = 1/3

So, the equation for the top line:

y= 1/3x + 3

Same process for the bottom line:

y= -3

m= 2/1

y= 2x -3

System of equations:

y= 1/3x + 3

y= 2x -3
