so we have
1 and 1/6-2/3
convert 1 and 1/6 to improper
1 and 1/6=1+1/6=6/6+1/6=7/6
make bottom number same
3 times 2=6 so
2/3 times 2/2=4/6

now we have
7/6-4/6=(7-4)/6=3/6=1/2
answer is 1/2
