In order to find the volume of the second figure, use the following formula for the volume of a cylinder:

V = π·r²·h

where

r: radius = 9 in

h: height = 7 in

replace the previous values of the parameters into the formula for V:

V = π(9 in)²(7 in)

V = 1,781.28 in³ ≈ 1,781.3 in³

Hence, the volume of the ginve cylinder is 1,781.3 in³
