2/3 -1/6 would equal 4/12 or 1/3 because you have to make there denominators equal so you multiply 2/3 by 4/4 and you get 8/12 and yo multiply 1/6 by 2/2 and get 2/12 then you subtract those two and you get 4/12 which you reduce to 1/3
