C; 2y - x = 27

Here, we want to select which of the options is not equivalent to the given expression

Firstly, we need to multiply each term in the original expression by 3 so that we will be left with no denominator

We have;

\begin{gathered} -9\text{ + 6y -x = 18} \\ \\ 6y-\text{ x = 18 + 9} \\ \\ 6y-x\text{ = 27} \end{gathered}

Now, we want to select whic of the options is not equivalent to what we have

Looking at all the options, we can see some sort of sembalnce with each of the term in the answer we have above in them

The only different option we can see is the option C which is our answer as it only contains two of the terms only
