The area of a triangle= half x base x height = 32 square feet

the height = one-fourth of the base

If the base = b

Then the height = 1/4 x b = b/4

\begin{gathered} A=\text{ }(1)/(2)* b* h \\ 32=\text{ }(1)/(2)* b*(b)/(4) \\ 32=\text{ }(b^2)/(8) \\ \text{cross multiply} \\ b^2=\text{ 32}*8 \\ b^2=256 \\ b=\text{ }\sqrt[]{256}=\text{ 16 ft} \end{gathered}
