A=x^2-15x-50

1) Since the garden bed is usually a rectangle, then we can find out the area as the product of the basis : (x+5) by the height :(x-10)

A=b* h

2) So we can write it out for the area:

\begin{gathered} A=(x-5)(x-10) \\ A=x^2-10x-5x-50 \\ A=x^2-15x-50 \end{gathered}

So the area of that garden bed can be found by this quadratic function. .

A=x^2-15x-50
