(b) If Annie graphed the relation, what would the y-intercept be? Explain how you know this?

(c) Is the relation a function? Explain why or why not.

(d) Is the relation linear? Explain how you know this. If so, state the rate of change and write the equation of the relation, where x is the number of months and y is the amount in the account. If not, give a clear explanation as to why not.

(e) Annie plans to keep her CD account for 2 years. Which bank would you suggest Annie open her account with. Explain why you think that opening the account with that bank is the better deal.

ok so part b) the y-intercept would be 500. The months represent the x coordinates and the amount represents the y coordinates. So since the x-coordinate is 0 ( the origin) it would be graphed on the y-axis, which is the y-intercept.
part c) i believe it is a function because the domain( x-values) does not repeat and it would pass the vertical line test
part d) i don't think it is linear. to find it is , you would use the formula y2-y1 over x2-x1. (510-500/1-0 = 10/1) you would do the same with two examples to find the constant rate of change. if all of them equal 10/1 than it is linear but they don't. in order it is 1) 10/1 ,2)10.2/1, 3)10.4/1 , 4) 10.62/1 they are not equal so it is not linear please wait i will do the rest in a bit xD
