If a researcher wants to compare two groups of anything, the best method is the double blind study. Here, the two groups of asthmatic children are , vaccine recipients and no vaccine subjects. Neither group of children know what group they are in. The researchers will also not know which group the children are in. This will create a study completely devoid of bias where the results may be confidently drawn a conclusion.
