I am pretty sure you subtract but in case it would be
(23,43) - (17,14).
(6,19) should be the answer

Answer:

d=\sqrt{(14-43)^(2)+(17-23)^(2)}

Explanation:

we know that

the formula to calculate the distance between two points is equal to

d=\sqrt{(y2-y1)^(2)+(x2-x1)^(2)}

In this problem we have

A(23,43)\\B(17,14)

substitute the values

d=\sqrt{(14-43)^(2)+(17-23)^(2)}

d=√(841+36)

d=√(877)\ units
