Residents who are under 25 years and those above are mutually exclusive. Let V = number of persons who take Vanilla under 25yrs and V' be the number of residents who are at least 25yrs who take Vanilla. Okay, so P(V) = 40/150 and P(V') = 15/150 P(V or V') = 40/150 + 15/150 = 0.366
