Since the 3 sides of an equilateral triangle are the same, or rather, equal:
6 3/4 inches / 3 = 2 1/4 inches

Ans: 2 1/4 inches

Answer: The length of each side is 2 1/4 inches.

Explanation:

Hi, to answer this question we have to analyze the information given:

An equilateral triangle is a triangle in wich all three sides are equal. So if a triangle has sides a-b and c, if it is equilateral: a=b=c

Perimeter of a triangle: a+b+c (sum of the sides)

So, if we already have the perimeter we simply have to divide it by 3 (because it has 3 sides and its an equilateral triangle)

Mathematically speaking:

6 3/4 ÷3= 2 1/4 inches
