Answer:

common difference = 6.

Explanation:

Given : 2, 8, 14, 20, 26, ......

To find : What is the common difference between successive terms in the sequence.

Solution : We have given that 2, 8, 14, 20, 26, ......

Common difference (d) =
a_(2) - a_(1).

Where ,
a_(2). = any term other than first term

a_(1). = previous term.

Then common difference = 8 - 2 = 6.

14 - 8 = 6.

20 - 14 = 6.

Therefore, common difference = 6.
