Solve the following equation. Then place the correct number in the box provided. 3y + 2 ≥ 5y +8

The correct answer to this would be y >= -3

I got this by subtracting 2 from both sides, to get 3y >= 5y + 6

Next you would subtract 5y from both sides to get -2y >= 6

You then divide both sides by -2 to get y >= -3

I unfortunately can't help with the box part but I hope this helps!

There are numerous answers but any number from the equation -3 ≥ y is valid.
