Given the function;

g(x)=(x-7)^2+1

To simplify, let us expand the bracket;

\begin{gathered} g(x)=(x-7)^2+1 \\ g(x)=(x-7)(x-7)+1 \\ g(x)=x^2-7x-7x+49+1 \\ g(x)=x^2-14x+50 \end{gathered}

We now have the simplified form of the function as;

g(x)=x^2-14x+50

Finally, the graph of the function g(x) is shown below;

G(x) = (x - 7)^2 + 1step and graph ?-example-1
